Reed Planter, Dark Wash Finish

Low terracotta planter in a combed, deep dark wash finish, hand-thrown in Sabanagrande, Honduras, with vertical lines in sharp relief against bright greenery. The wash settles into the grooves of the combed surface, sitting deepest between each line and lifting across the raised clay between them. The contrast shifts slightly across every pot depending on how it dried, so the finish reads as a surface with genuine depth rather than a flat dark coat. The stamped maker's mark sits into one side, visible on close inspection without interrupting the overall form. Two sizes serve different display needs without overlap. Tall at 7.5" wide and 12.5" high stands upright on a floor or console, well-sized for a single tall plant with vertical presence. Large at 10" wide and 8.25" tall sits lower and broader on a shelf or dining table, with room for a fuller plant or a shallow arrangement. No drainage hole, so lining before planting is recommended for best results, or use as a decorative cachepot. Also available in Natural Terra Cotta finish. Best for: • Plant shops and home decor retailers seeking a bold, textured pot • Buyers looking to contrast a natural or whitewash planter range with a dark finish option • Floor and shelf displays with statement tropical and foliage plants • Customers drawn to handmade planters with a graphic, sculptural surface Specifications: • Material: Terra cotta clay • Finish: Dark Wash • Tall: 7.5" W x 7.5" D x 12.5" H • Large: 10" W x 10" D x 8.25" H • Drainage: No drainage hole.
