Basin Terracotta Pot, Whitewash

Coiled terracotta basin planter in a warm whitewash finish, hand-thrown in Sabanagrande, Honduras, available in three sizes for shelf, console, and table. The broad, low body is built up in stacked horizontal bands, the whitewash spreading more evenly across the smooth clay surface and shifting only where the clay varies beneath. The wash settles differently across every piece, the warm terra cotta reading through in its own pattern. Where the Greenwash version pulls toward olive and stone, this finish reads warmer and softer on the shelf, sitting naturally alongside natural wood, linen, and dried botanicals. Small at 8" wide and 4.5" tall fits a windowsill or desk, sized for a 6" nursery pot or a single succulent. Medium at 9.5" wide has enough depth for most standard indoor plants. Wide at 11.5" across is the lowest and broadest of the three, suited to trailing plants or used as a decorative bowl on a dining or entry table. Pair with the Studio Planter Tray in Whitewash to protect surfaces beneath. No drainage hole, so lining before planting is recommended for best results, or use as a decorative cachepot. Also available in Greenwash.
