Hand-Thrown Basin Terra Cotta Planter, Greenwash, 3 Sizes
Broad, low-bodied terra cotta planters built up in visible coiled rings and finished in a warm olive greenwash by artisans in Honduras. The form reads as both sculptural and functional on a retail floor, moving well in plant, garden, and home decor store environments.
The greenwash pools into the grooves between each ring, sitting deeper in color where the clay recesses and lighter across the raised bands. The terra cotta beneath keeps the green from flattening, so the tone shifts naturally across the surface rather than reading as a painted finish. Each pot settles into its own pattern, making a grouped display on a shelf or table visually dynamic without any extra effort from the retailer.
Small (8" wide, 4.5" tall) suits a console, outdoor ledge, or windowsill. Medium (9.5" wide) handles most standard nursery pots with room to spare. Wide (11.5" across) is the shallowest of the three, broad enough for a trailing plant, a low herb arrangement, or used as a decorative bowl on a dining or entry table. The size range gives buyers flexibility to build a full assortment rather than a single SKU.
Pair with the Greenwash Tray to protect surfaces beneath. Also available in Whitewash.
